Emergency Relief Grant Helps Local Woman Secure Cooker For Christmas Day
Posted on Tuesday 20th December 2011A local woman made an application to the Teesside Emergency Relief Fund on Monday 19 December for an emergency payment to enable her to buy a cooker so that she could cook Christmas lunch for her and her family. We are pleased to report that with invaluable help and support from Stockton District Advice and Information Service, we were able to turn around the application on the same day and award a grant out of the Teesside Emergency Relief Fund. The good news is that the cooker was ordered today (Tuesday) and will be with the recipient tomorrow. ...............
