GDF Suez

Holding the largest fund the Foundation manges, GDF Suez now hosts the fund originally set up by Tees Power during the building and commissioning of the Wilton power station.  Established in 1993 the fund directly supports the neighbouring community made up of the nine local authority wards surrounding the facility.  The fund provides grants for groups and an educational bursary scheme to support students wishing to study engineering or maths, disciplines vital to the work of the donor.

Senior staff at GDF Suez play an active role in the grant making process and have become valued partners to TVCF in the 20 years since the fund was set up.
